以一定量的煤樣與一定量的無煙煤（惰性物質(zhì)）混合均勻，使得煤樣（小粒度）均勻地附著在無煙煤（大粒度）的表面，干餾過程中煤樣生成的膠質(zhì)體將無煙煤的顆粒粘結(jié)在一起，然后用特制的轉(zhuǎn)鼓做轉(zhuǎn)磨試驗，以測定焦碳的耐磨強度。以此來判斷煤樣（煤中膠質(zhì)體）對無煙煤的粘結(jié)能力，再運用特定的公式來計算出煤樣的粘結(jié)性。

用途：用于測定煉焦用煤的粘結(jié)能力—羅加指數(shù)及粘結(jié)指數(shù)

Uniform blending of coal samples with anthracite( inertia substance ) is made in certain amounts, allowing the coal samples ( small size fraction) to evenly attached to the surfaces of anthracite(large size fraction). Colloids produced by anthracite in the process of distillation to be bonded with particles of anthracite are subject to grinding tests with rotating drum for measuring abrasion strength of coke , on which ability of bonding of the coal samples (colloids in coal) to anthracite can be judged and the  cohesiveness of the coal samples can be calculated using the special formula.

Use: It is applied for measuring bonding ability of coal for coke , Roga index and coking index.
